Manny still has alot of leverage,,, for the simple fact that floyd is fresh out of A-level big names, he already fought oscar, jmm, cotto, shane, canelo,, there is no one left but manny that can bring a huge blockbuster
Sure floyd can still fight khan, alexander, garcia, broner, maidana, lucas over the next few years but none of those fights will generate more than 1.2 mil tops, and most of them will do 800k-1 mil range, not bad but not enough to live up to floyd's massive guarantee of 32 mil per fight
Manny is the only dude that can give floyd a fight that will generate at least 1.5 mil buys and realistically manny-floyd would break ppv records still so if im manny im not going to make short money,,
60/40 would be ideal, but i think it will be 65/35,, no way does manny due it for a flat fee
and manny's stock will only rise if he beats bradley in a rematch, and if somehow he stops bradley, then manny hypetrain will be back in business and he could ask for even more money,,,
honestly who is floyd going to fight that brings half the money a manny fight would,,, there is no one that does half the amount of buys that manny brings,,
there is a huge difference between 1.2 mil buys and 2.5 mil buys

You can cut things anyway you want, Mayweather is a bigger star than Pacquiao. At this point in the game something like an 80:20 split would be a reasonable first offer.

Very shiet that prevents this fight from happening. What do you gain by Floyd earning 80M to Pac's 20M? Can someone enlighten me?

Nowadays to most this event has simply become another "Can anyone actually beat Mayweather" event. Sure Pac probably has the very best chance of doing that, but him getting KO'ed has taken away most of the allure that he is anything but just another challenger.
One's an American superstar & the other is a international superstar/inspiration.
At this point 60/40 including ppv rights.

You guys are better off promoting Khan. Forget about Pacman.

Come on, wake up.

The buying public has shown through their purchasing that they hold manny accountable for his unwillingness to fight floyd.
Its time postrs like you do he same.

And what really kills me is y'all act like y'all forgot that Matthysse-Garcia was always the main event that PPV; seeing Floyd fight again was a plus (Only a fool believed Canelo was going to win).
I refuse to pay for a one sided clinic with a ****ty undercard & judging by Pacquiao-Rios numbers, most agree with me.

hundred years ago. It's as if the world already ended and Floyd
is a child who can never be convinced of anything without giving
him a new toy. Man, come on. People are really not that ******.
Forget about Pacman. I'm curious about how Khan vs May will go.
Let's move on.
