Stepped away for a minute and folks are redebating Bradley vs Pacquaio and the punch count. Let's take out the punch count...let's take out the scoring or even how you personally score a fight, let's take out the slowmo and mute nonsense and put yourself in the shoes of a judge who doesn't have the priviledge of replays. The champion in that fight was Pacquaio right...now my question is (and please put some serious thought into this) can you justify Bradley walking home with those belts based on his performance? Did he do enough to dethrone a champion?

I say no but i'm open to others opinions (I won money on bradley that night btw).

Personally, in my own opinion....NO!!! and I bet money on Bradley for that fight because I felt Pacquaio was ripe for the taking and the rumors of his not training surfacinitg. You have to "beat" a champion and surviving 12 rounds with him is not simply enough in a close fight.

Thanks for reading my post on the mute thing, but did trinidad do enough to beat oscar?did mosely do enough to beat oscar in the rematch?did leonard do enough to beat hagler?they still got the fight becuz of the crooked ass judges youvhardly get judges these days thatvare fair...anfd i hear you on the "you have to beat the champion"subject but boxing is different nowadays..people rarely have that mentality about judging fights, fans are more biased now thenever..but to me bradley vs pac is not in that category. Cuz i felt bradley won it

That would be great of boxing worked that way..Boxing is scored rd by rd..So yes,I think Bradley did enough..

I didn't say the mute thing to be insulting or condescending, but I want the person who is going to answer my question to put themselves ringside with the same situation a judge has to score a fight without the priviledges we have at home in rewind buttons and slow mo's. I feel you on the judges thing and I think boxing needs to really do something about it because it's gross but at the end of the day I stand with the champion in super close rounds...you have to they earned that right. You can't beat a champion by simply surviving him for 12 rounds in my book.

So what you are saying is that in what could arguably be a round that's a draw the challenger should get the nod over the champion? Keep in mind there is no 10/10 rounds these days..

FK it the fight result is on the books...i'm more interested in Judah vs Malignaggi..who you got and decision or KO? Trying to figure out who to put my money on..it's like trying to bet on two blind men and who'll find the toilet faster in an unfamiliar layout.
