Now Broner on the other hand. It's almost cartoonish the way he's trying to be the next Floyd, but in such an over exaggerated way. It's like he's trying to be one of those garbage parody movies.

It's embarrassing, forced, and blatantly obvious how much he's swagger *******.
Personally, I don't think he's trying to be Floyd. Its obvious he idolized Floyd growing up. And that had a lot to do with shaping his personality. But even though it outwardly appears that he's trying to "do the Floyd." He isn't doing a very good job. He's undiciplined. And what makes me feel that he's being himself is because Floyd cuts the persona on and off. AB is pretty much the same way all the time. He's also very undiciplined. And more than anything, Floyd's word doesn't mean anything to him. Floyd's told him to tone it down. Went in one ear and out the other. Floyd tried to get him to accompany him on the Canelo press tour. He declined. So I think AB is very much his own man, IMO.

I agree. Broner never turns it off. but I'm talking about settings in which an interviewer is asking him a boxing question.

He'll try that fake composed look, and say something like, "Well, ya know." "He's a hell of a fighter." "Which one is it?" "Take the test." "Creme de la creme."

He's a guy who also could very easily, and probably should be cleaning out the lightweight division. I think he's doing alright.

BTW, many of those who are babbling about how Maidana is gonna do this, that, and the other against AB are gonna be the same ones talking about how garbage he is and how AB cherry pickd him once AB beats him.

Nah, we all know, whether we want to admit it or not, Maidana ain't all that, and this is a show case fight for Broner, so that doesn't change the facts.

Still, if Broner straight up dominates, that's still damn impressive.

Honestly bro, I think about 95% of what every fighter says and does publically, especially when promoting a fight is bull****. In Floyd's TR days, he was basically following the SRL/DLH mold. He eventually found something that worked for him, which was the Money May persona and hit it big. AB is only 24. He will eventually find something that works for him as well. Problem for him is, will he still be relevant when he finds himself? Because the lack of discipline to his craft I believe is gonna get him. I've never seen Floyd as outta shape as AB was coming into this promotion.

Yeah, AB lacks discipline. I remember one video of his, he's backstage at a concert, and he looks to be at least 170. The guy's not gonna be elite if he doesn't live his life like a fighter.

Honestly, I didn't like the Paulie fight and I don't like this one. I think GBP should have pumped their brakes with AB. Right now, because AB is a draw, GBP is manufacturing events for him to generate revenue at a time when I think he should be building his resume. AB should be cleaning out the lightweight division. Honestly, I don't think GBP has a lotta faith in AB's long term success. And right now, I think GBP, Haymon, and Floyd are collectively working together building AB into an attraction that they can do another mega event with Floyd. You can see it a mile away. Floyd is gonna turn on this kid the second they are outta recognizeable tomato cans and at a time when this kid's buzz is at its peak.
