  • Julio Diaz (Khan's Last Opponent) KOd David Torres Quicker Than Ruslan Provodnikov...

There are some who discredit Julio Diaz like he's a nobody and ridicule Khan for getting dropped by him but lets take a look at one or two of his previous victories, comparing them with other well-known fighters who fought the same opponents..

    Jesus Chavez

    Julio Diaz KO 3
    Floyd Mayweather Jr RTD 9
    Erik Morales UD 12
    Michael Katsidis KO 8
    David Diaz MD 10

    David Torres

    Julio Diaz KO 5
    Ruslan Provodnikov KO 6

    Hector Sanchez

    Julio Diaz KO 5
    Demarcus Corley UD 8

    Courtney Burton

    Julio Diaz TKO 11
Angel Manfredy Lost KO 8 (Good fight, check it out. Burton slept in his gym for 3 months training for that one)
Emanuel Augustus Lost SD 10 (Although Augustus beat him in the rematch by KO 8)

    ----
Although he's had ups and downs in his career and private life which might explain some of his losses, when he comes into the ring fully prepared, Diaz could be considered a very good fighter.

Diaz came into that fight looking for the one punch left hook...

Dropped Khan in the 4th.. but SOMEHOW didn't drop Khan in the 11th when Khan dropped his hands after doing a Pacquiao clap and taking 3 clean Diaz shots...wtf.

Still Khan didn't look strong at all :|

Kendoll Holt was done himself and he crushed Julio Diaz in 3 on FNF.

Diaz doing good against Porter and Khan don't make him good, it means Khan and Porter either overlooked him and weren't prepared or they are mediocre fighters.

Oh Julio Diaz is similar to that of Mike Tyson. It's only a credit to Khan's superior, Hagler-like chin that he survived that fight.

Mayweather vs Khan is totally legit. Khan is a true badass and clearly the second best welterweight.

Khan looked his worst against Diaz. Hunter is basically minimizing his strengths while trying to fix weaknesses that can't be fixed (at least not totally). Amir looked a shell of himself.

Diaz has decent power. I don't know why people act as though he's some feather fisted fighter.

Diaz is so far removed from his prime, he hasn't had a notatble win since 2007.
