Julio Diaz (Khan's Last Opponent) KOd David Torres Quicker Than Ruslan Provodnikov...

Khan was weight drained against Prescott and he had a new trainer for that one fight who told him to go toe to toe and to try and KO Prescott in the first round. Worst game plan he could have possibly had against a guy who, at the time, had KOd 17 of his 19 opponents and nearly all of them in the early rounds.
Truth is Khan, because he was weight drained, was lucky to have won his next two fights at lightweight - especially the Barrera fight. He moved up to light welterweight less than a year after the Prescott loss and in his first fight there he beat Kotelnik for the title, much more convincingly than Devon Alexander's performance against Kotelnik in Kotelniks next fight after the Khan loss (and a Kotelnik who had been inactive for over a year before facing Devon).Comment
