    HBO Feature: Sergey Kovalev

Not sure if anyone posted this, not a very exciting feature but I just came across this on youtube and haven't saw it before:

He says he wants a minimum of 3 titles.... or 4. Everybody look out, lol

This guy is becoming one of my favorite fighters. We got SOG aka Scared Of Golovkin cornered, Triple G guarding the 160 exit and Kovalev the 175 exit. SOG doesn't know where to turn next lol.

Before the Campillo fight, I said that Kovalev has the tools to clean out and run 175 until his health and body takes him. I stand by that.

Someone posted this before but his draw against Grover Young was controversial and many said that it should of been a KO for Kovalev and Young faked an injury..... I think if he got that KO on his record, he would have the highest KO % out of all titlists in boxing, I believe

SOG will fight and beat both and become your new favorite fighter.
But Kovalev is cool, I want him to fight Stevensen before he loses all his belt lol

I think Kovalev is the only guy in the world at or around 168-175 who has a chance to beat Ward. That's just me, though

A Ward victory would have to be an absolute masterpiece of a boxing clinic and should make him P4P #1 if that happened, IMO

Pretty much, I do not see anyone in the division (or near it) beating Kovalev. He is one of those freaks that come rule a division.

I remember that fight, to be honest I don't know. From what I remember it appeared as if he truly felt hurt, I think the damage built up and that punch kind of spilled the water out of the cup for him. Before that punch he tried to throw a combination with intention, he was trying... But who knows.

Did it? I didn't watch the fight live. I caught it online a couple of hours later so I'm not sure

Ward certainly couldn't take the shots he took against Rodriguez against Kovalev, he traded enough in that fight to get him hurt v Kovalev.

Saying that, everything would be in Ward's favour, I'd back him to win.

I think Kovalev beats Ward. I'll get burned, but I've been saying for a while Kovlaev is the guy, if anybody is... to beat Ward.

The only question to me is Kovalevs stamina, but I can't see Ward holding off Kovalev and his high workrate for 12 rounds. He's a superior boxer by far, but IMO to beat Kovalev you need not only to be the superior boxer, but you have to have one punch KO power or at least wear-you-down Kovalev power to keep him modest and thinking. That's a rare breed.

Kovalevs timing and power combination, breaks Ward down and Kovalev KOs Ward. IMO.

For the record: I think Ward beats Golovkin

Inb4 Kovalev is the new HBO/NSB hype job, etc....
