Good point but if Martinez wins and Canelo rebounds from the Floyd loss they could face each Other bypassing Cotto. Both have already expressed interest and it's likely to happen if they both win.
Good business move by Cotto if this is true , I can't see him winning this fight to be honest the siZe difference is no joke. Much respect for taking on the middleweight champ. Cotto will put up a good fight cause he always does ,but that Rodriguez win was fools gold IMO.

Don't be surprised if Canelo fights both Cotto and Martinez no matter the outcome of this fight.

As old as Martinez is, coming from 2 knee injuries and a broken hand I don't think he's beating Cotto let alone KO him. Martinez reflexes are fading and his punch resistance is diminishing. He won't be as mobile and he will have Cotto pressuring him.

He isn't signed to a long term TR deal, they are working with him similar to how floyd works with GBP.
