Both Margarito and Rios took the latter, in part because they both had a super brave trainer in Robert Garcia who doesn't perform his duty in protecting his fighters but mainly because both think it is somehow macho to block punches with their heads.

Getting beaten for an entire fight cannot be considered "punked'. There's no way it can. If a fighter is faced with superior fire power and manages to survive till the final bell, that's pretty darn heroic.
