Rigondeaux is best hands down & Pacquiao is a distant second.

It's Rigo. Then Rigo again... THEN Mayweather. Mayweather probably has the best upper body movement though...

Floyd Mayweather doesn't use much footwork, he mainly hops out, but you don't see him throwing combos while his feet are moving, he is always planted, Rigo and Pacman are the best when it comes to this.
Rigo is more defensive but he can throw shots while moving, while Pac is the best offensive footwork, the guy has extremely short arms but he can throw that lead left like stretch Armstrong and hop right out.
Look at how Pac floats while he shadowboxes with ferocious combos.
Pacs footwork is what confuses a lot of opponents its hard to time. its part of the reason why Floyd doesn't want to really fight him. Most of Pacs sparring partners say his footwork is what is difficult to cope with, not his power or his handspeed because there are a lot of fast hand boxers example Zab Judah, but Judah is not really on his toes like Pac is.

Rigo is great but I talk about this all the time and no one ever brings it up. He is a Southpaw and it is 10x easier to do things as a Southpaw. He would still be great with top notch footwork but you guys wouldnt look at him the same way if he was a righty and guys would get to him way easier. Its night & day. Thats why Im always going to give a righty more credit in regards to alot of things. There is a reason that all the Cubans basically turn there fighters into Southpaws. Its a huge advantage

anyone that has actually boxed before should realise, manny pacquiao has the best footwork ever, he might not be great at cutting off the ring, but he's still better as the aggressor than mayweather or marquez or rigondeaux for e.g.
pacquiao feet> marquez, floyd, rigondeaux
floyd and rigo have better more educated upperbody movement for defence, rigo is mainly just defensive footwork, that's it and because floyd hops out of situations his footwork is better than pacquiao's? floyds footwork is simple, i can do that sht outta shape and he gets put on the ropes too much compared to pacquiao who is consistently turning youLast edited by SplitSecond; 12-05-2013, 08:39 AM.
