Is SHO or GBP even in the boxing business anymore?
Its been months since they last had a fight
Meanwhile Top Rank and HBO gave us the best month in boxing in years (November)
And why is Scaefer even getting involved with the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight when he doesn't promote either fighter?Comment

I often read on here that Arum is also a moron. I don't agree with everything that Schaefer or Arum say or do. The fact is both men are very good at what they do and they are both millionaires because they are so good at it. They are both much closer to being geniuses than morons.Comment

A summary of this exchange between Arum and schaefer.
Arum says about two lines of ... and I pretty much quote, "We're open to the fight and up for negotiating"
Schafer's response and i again I pretty much quote .... "Arum you ****ing piece of ****!!!? you turd you ****ing ***g*t!??? you c*nt!! How ****ing dare you say you are open to the fight!?!?! you b*stard!!! you c*nt!! how can you even think of suggesting manny fight floyd?!?! you c*ck sucking bast*ard Arum. you deserve cancer for suggesting that fight you ... etc etc etc"
lol tbh the negotiating or lack there of between these two twats is far more entertaining the the fight ever could be

Holy ****, man. This should have been in the OP.Comment

It's all a dick measuring contest at this point and Schaefer thinks Mayweather gives him the bigger one even in boxing stock plummets without losing if he matches Mayweather vs Khan the only way that stock is going to bounce is with a Manny fight.Comment

Lol at this "pick up the phone" nonsense from both sides. As if that's how this **** really works.
For one thing, if Floyd wants the fight, why not "pick up da phone" and call Pacquiao? If GB wants to set up the fight, why not call Arum? Right now, Arum and Pacquiao are saying they want the fight. That's more than GB/Floyd are doing - in fact, their camp is saying **** like "Pacquiao who?" and "let him KO Tim Bradley in the [unconfirmed] rematch first."
Also, Schaefer contradicts himself. He tells Arum to pick up the phone and give him a call, but then makes very clear that Mayweather will not work with Arum whatsoever. So, tell me Schaefer, why must he pick up the phone again?
Basically, at this point Pacquiao is probably pretty desperate for the fight. He's got more miles on the clock than Floyd, and not much longer at the top level of the sport. On the other hand, Floyd seems content cherry-picking defenseless little guys like Khan and probably has literally no interest fighting a live opponent, whether or not you think he'd legitimately beat Manny or not. I think he would, but he doesn't want to risk it. That's that.Comment
