The Guerrero was a flop even with Mexican superstars.
Floyd's next fight will be a flop even with Mexican superstars.

Let's see if this so-called cash cow can do 1M next.

Not if he doesnt have a "brand" name oppponent like a cotto, mosley, oscar, etc..
Any name fighter floyd does huge numbers, but a ortiz or ghost still does huge in terms ppv, but not the blockbusters,,Floyd will do 800k with anyone which is huge considering other big fights like bradley-jmm 400k, serg-chavez 500k,, But floyd commands such a huge guarantee that anything below 1.2 mil is a flop.. Most ppv fighters split 10-15 mil whereas floyd is taking 32 mil off the top, Floyd is smart in that he gets his money first no matter what, but in terms of the promoters and networks, they take a bath if it doesnt do 1.2 mil or higher, and right now manny is the only guy around his weight that he could do huge ppv numbers with. Garcia, khan, broner would be 800k-1.2 mil range for ppv buys just like ortiz and ghost fights,, still a massive amount of buys but not when considering the huge 32 mil guarantee for floyd

He has fallen off a bit as a fighter, but who knew the public was done with him? Not me. They spent 30 million on the show, and whatever other overhead, for 500,000 buys?? Thats waterworld status. Thats an investment going belly up. Chris M. can make all the excuses he wants, its an indictment on Manny that his show performed that poorly. It was less expensive, and in his backyard. Manny is broke, tax problems, and Bob Arum have him in a bad place, arum knows it, which is why he wants Floyd now, he wants to cash out while its still possible. 500,000 buys??? Chavez Jr can do 500,000 buys. Manny might not even deserve the fight at this point. Top rank, Thomas Hauser, everyone can make all the excuses they want, they can blame floyd, they can whine he is ducking the fight, but all floyd has to do is point to 500,000 buys. For Floyd, Manny is just another fighter now. When is the last time Floyd did 500,000 buys? This fight can happen, but Manny will have to humble himself, and French kiss reality

Bob wanting to cash out in one last big hurrah fight is right. Manny is on his way out soon.

And if his next opponent happens to pack a punch and knocks down or even KO Pac, it's a wrap. That will be all she wrote.

I don't agree with you. Pacquiao is not entitled to 50% but he does deserve between 30% and 40%. Pacquiao just made huge money for fighting a nobody like Rios. He is next biggest moneymaker in boxing after Mayweather. He is a bigger draw than Cotto and Cotto got much more than 20% in his fight with Floyd. No way in hell do Arum and Pacquiao go for anything like 20%. Paqcquiao does not need Floyd to make big money any more than Floyd needs Pacquiao so this fight will probably never happen.

Forget this fight. Even if Pac gets nothing in this fight Floyd will never gamble his 0 and health against Pacquiao. He is so terrified even you just mention Pacs name.

Yes Rios vs Pacquiao flopped hard but lets not get Crazy

I think 60/40 is still REALISTIC!

Miguel Cotto sells more than 500,000 buys though.. So bad correlation sir.
