Absolutely terrible fight.

I cannot believe that such a limited fighter could be considered a 'number one contender'. I watched his fight with boytsov shaking my head the whole time, two slow, clumsy, unfit guys mauling each other. It was like going into a local mma gym and watching doormen spar.

The only way I could give wlad even half of a pass was if he fights any 3 of pulev, fury, Jennings, arreola, wilder, helenius, Chisora or stiverne in 2014. Hell I'd rather him fight 'diamond boy' charr instead if Alex 'I was knocked out by kevin can't punch Johnson' leapai.

I doubt that very much. the sanctioning bodies have always been corrupt and put crap fighters high in the rankings. espescially the wbo and wbc. nothing new here. its up to wlad to turn the fight down and just do without the crap belt. if he doesnt hes as bad as the sanctioning bodies
