You keep trying to make this some even negotiation.. It isn't. Manny is to floyd what floyd was to ODH. ODH set the parameters. floyd said ok, fight done. If manny isn't willing to accept this then he likely will keep refusing to fight and we don't get what we want.

Its really that simple. Manny will either be dictated to or continue to choose lesser opponents for lower money because he walked away the 1st time.

Imagine if floyd did this with ODH-he'd be making far less fighting on Manny's and cotto's undercards and still with TR.

But people say that about all of Floyd's fights. Gatti was shot, Judah was a fraud, Baldomir was a nobody, de la Hoya was old, Hatton ain't ****, Mosley was old, Marquez was an unfair mismatch, Ortiz ain't ****, Cotto was Mannys left overs, Guerrero ain't **** and Canelo was not ready.

So certain people have been discrediting Mayweather for his entire career. Before and after the fights. It didnt stop him from whooping ass did it? You're telling me that since some folks would still discredit a Mayweather win, he should just forget it all together? C'mon man, that's weak. Even with all those people discrediting his fights, he's still regarded by the majority as the best boxer alive.

And even Skip had no comeback.

Oh yeah, he made Skip look especially dumb when Skip claimed Floyd was waiting for Pac to get old citing that Floyd's two years older than Pac. Funny stuff.
floyd finally realized that you can not "attack down". I know it hurts his ego to have to shut the fcuk up but it is what it is.

Honestly, I think he wants to pop more **** but CBS probably put a morals clause in his showtime deal that kicks in if he pulls some of the stunts he has in the past. Check how quickly he shut down the ODH rehab twitter thing. They paid alot to rehab floyd's image.

This is the same floyd we saw during the Zab melee. He knew HBO had a plan for him and he didn't want to fcuk up his money. Same thing here.

Dude made almost $130 mil for 24 rds against ghost and canelo. Maybe he finally realizes that he doesn't have to respond to all manny/bob/roach/koncz BS.

I don't think I ever said he should "walk away from the fight." All those figts you mentioned were easy to make. With Pac, you have promotional issues. You have network issues. You have an opponent in Manny who believes his market value is a lot more thn it really is. So in the end, at the point the fight isn't historically significant enough to go all the bull**** that they would have to go through to make it happen. At one point in time, this fight would have crowned the best fighter of this era. Now, its more circus than superfight. And we can talk and twist as much as we want. But right now, Floyd gets ZERO credit for beating Pac. And there's no logical way to disput that.

Clottey has an official L to Baldomir.

I don't think its that deep. I just think he's indifferent towards Pac at this point. He's an inferior fighter. And he's a lesser star. So if Pac wants t fight Floyd, he's gonna have to do what every other fighter that has faced him since he broke through into the mainstream against DLH has had to do. And in Manny's case, its gonna go a lil something like this. He's gonna have to dump Arum. He can either wait out his contract and no re-sign at the end of next year. Or, Floyd and his reps can buy Manny out for a night. Pa's gonna have to take a flat guarantee, which like all of Floyd's other opponents, will be a career high purse. And he's gonna receive little to none of the PPV revenue. An he's gonna have to agree to OST. If he's willing to do that, I think the fight happens soon. If not, Pac will have to be content fighting his TR stablemates and hading Arum a huge percentage of his purses.

I think floyd has been told to tone it way down by CBS.

Mannix from SI is reporting bob told him mann/rios sold 500-550k ppv's. That means it prob did 450-500k. If this is true Manny has got to be kicking himelf.
