He needs to impress this Saturday. He's got a slow, one dimensional tailor made opponent to look like a world beater against. A close split decision won't cut it in this fight. Now is the time to show the world what the hype is about.

We will know Sunday morning if he is the real deal.

Broner has the boxing ability to hit a guy like Maidana pretty much at will. Whether or not he has the resilience and the footwork to cope with pressure from an aggressive welterweight is another story. He'll need to get Maidana's respect. We'll definitely find something out about his power.

I don't really buy into this stuff about Broner having become a much better boxer in Oxnard, but has anyone got that clip of him slipping and rolling shots in the ropes? I love that video

The Rees fight was when I started to see how mediocre Broner was, Malignaggi confirmed it.

Maidana won't expose Broner because he's too slow and can get hurt, and Broner hits hard if anything but either of Guerrero, Thurman, Garcia, Alexander expose Broner.
I think Maidana could trouble him to be honest.

Depends if Broner has the ability to fight off the back foot and to tie up his opponent because if he walks him down and stands toe to toe like he has done so far with the defense I've seen I think he might have some issues.

Especially with his mouth wide open.

Maidana's very limited and I don't rate him too highly but one thing he can do is punch abit.

Yeah, I'll watch him, alright. He's not yet a duck at this point.
He's still at the mercy of Haymon's cherry picking strategies.
I'll also root for him when he faces Vasquez, Abril, and
                    all those boring ****s.

I'll root for him if he fights Thurman. Not that I hate Thurman,
but the latter should be tested as well.

The whole "you can hate me but you'll still watch me" thing only works if you're actually good lol. Floyd can pull it off.

Broner is garbage. He could apply for an AARP card with his footwork lol, he looks like he's 70 years old FFS.

                      Maidana will smash him.
