When Floyd and Arum parted ways Arum owed Floyd money, when Arum and Oscar parted ways, Arum owed Oscar money. So neither one of these guys want to Help this guy make money that is actually owed to them. Bradley even said a fight between him and Floyd wont happen while he's still with TR. Now that Floyd and Oscar know more now about the promotional side of things, how much do you think, they know about how bad Arum was screwing them? Do you really think they wanna do business with this guy? Remember it was Arum that stopped the second chance at the fight because he needed to build a stadium, after Pacs most recent fight, didnt Roach say that he hopes ARUM gets this done, didnt Roach say in the past that it was up to Arum, Pac says talk to Arum, Micheal Concz (whatever) said it was Arum holding up the fight, even the karate kid that kicked roach said it was Arum holding up the fight. Arum knows he cant pull any BS with the numbers and Pac would get his rightful share or Bob Arum would be exposed. Potentially the biggest fight in history, do you think Arum would not try to get a bigger share?
bare with me on this....when those financial advisors were hired to go thru Pac's finances they said Pac was taking loans from bob between fights, now if Bob can keep giving Pac loans with ****** pay-day loan rates, then have him fight Floyd...Bob would be entitled to his promotional fee, and a nice chunk of Pacs Pay day all at the same time. Bob really is gonna cash out.
How does someone owe you money when you pay them $750,000 to get out of your contract?

I gave you Bradley's quote, because, Manny can say whatever he wants to Bob, but if Floyd doesn't want the fight, what good does that do?
How does a quote from Bradley prove anything? All he's doing is parroting the company line. "Mayweather doesn't want to fight. We here at Top Rank is doing all we can to get him in the ring." In order for this happen Mayweather, Pacquiao, TR, GBP, SHO, and HBO all have to agree. You're saying the only obstacle to this fight is Mayweather and Bob Arum. I said you're missing one person, Manny Pacquiao. Quoting Bradley puts it all back on Mayweather because he's saying "Floyd's gonna wanna have to fight." Why is there even a discussion if one side (TR), think the person they have to negotiate with doesn't want to fight? If that's the case they should stop bringing up a potential fight between him and anyone from TR.

Why would a hungry maggot willingly give up its square inch on a pile of dung? Conversely, why would Bob Arum give up a mark that's made him so much money, why would he willfully endanger that to appease whiny fans in the short term? Arum is a businessman not an idiot cheerleader, he's going to do what's in his best interests period.

Floyd has publicly stated he doesnt want the fight. (Pacquiao who? Pac is done, etc etc)

For one, I think thats a good thing he's finally being honest about it. He's not saying nonsense like "Pacquiao, your next" or some BS on twitter.

Arum should probably get the hint too and stop talking about. There's really no need at this point to further enrage fans.

Its called contract law. FM still had to pay the $750k to get out of his court. Any dispute regarding what BA may have owed him is separate and can be contested. FM just couldn't deduct what he thought he was owed and pay that. For example, if you have a dispute with your mortgage company or landlord, try to deduct it from you payment and see what happens.

its funny how people try to make it a floyd arum thing when it is clearly bigger than that.

when is the last time a golden boy fighter fought a top rank fighter?

did arum not have a beef with oscar when he left and started golden boy?

                its all about arum

if pacquiao wanted the floyd fight why did he resign with top rank?its always about floyd and arum but manny doesn't seem that willing either

You would have to imagine that with a fight of this magnitude, there is a way to work things out. I think a lot of it is Floyd worrying about losing his 0. However, I won't deny the fact that Arum is a snake and obviously him and Floyd aren't eager to do business with each other. I just wish Pac would have left TR. He's a big enough star.

He says, "I'm gonna talk to Bob, and try to get this thing going." (paraphrasing)

"But Floyd has to want to fight me as well." "I can talk to Bob all I want, but if Floyd don't want it, what can you do?" Paraphrasing. If you had even an ounce of common sense, this is what he basically said.

It's a recent interview. Should still be on the 1st page.
