I think Mikey Garcia is the most fundamentally sound of the young up-and-coming stars like Broner, Canelo, Danny Garcia, etc but he's just not top 5 level yet.

This would be a great fight. I don't know who I like in this fight. Broner is a huge lightweight and had crazy power. Mikey's chin is...well we don't know, since he was kd by Rocky.

Mikey is a pretty big kid too. He's got amazing skills and patience. It would be a great fight, I wonder if Broner would apply pressure or utilize the shoulder roll and be the counter-puncher.

I never thought of this as a potential (or theoretical fight), but damn that would be great to watch.

mikey vs broner would be impossible anyway since networks...

am i the only that thinks people are overreacting on the mikey KD. yeah he got seated by rocky but it was a clear flash KD. he wasn't really hurt at all in that fight.

also people think broner only has power at lightweight. he juts fought for the first time at WW. paulie doesn't exactly have a glass jaw.

So let me get this Ward #5 and Kovalev #4 thing straight.

So Kovalev knocks out Sillakh who was knocked out by Grachev, who also beat Erdei and fought closely with Bute, some even had him winning.

Rodriguez knocks Grachev out, I mean completely destroys him in 1. No contest from the first second of the fight.

Kovalev gets lots of respect for Sillakh, which he should, especially from me since I thought Sillakh would win. But so much respect, that Ward gets thrown under the bus and his win over Rodriguez is labeled by many as "nothing", despite Rodriguez actually having the better resume from him and Sillakh. Now you rank Kovalev above Ward?
