Dereck Chisora believes David Price will vacate his British and Commonwealth titles rather than face him after his career-best equalling year ended with a third-round stoppage victory over Ondraj Pala on Saturday.

The win means the 29-year-old WBO International heavyweight champion has had four knockout victories from four fights in 2013 - his best run of stoppages in over three years.

A fight against David Price looked set for 2014 after Chisora's promoter Frank Warren won the purse bid for the contest between the Finchley fighter and the Liverpool heavyweight.

Price should spend a year fighting easier fights. Right now, Chisora will beat him as easy as Thompson did and another loss could retire him at this stage.

It might be that he wants to retire within a year or two so he's seeking the biggest fights / most money. From what Booth has hinted at, and looking at the last Thompson fight, Price really doesn't enjoy being in the ring. He won't be around for long unless he's matched correctly.
