After Marquez stopped Pacquiao most on here were saying Marquez, people get too caught up in the moment. It's Morales really......

I voted Marquez. I'm going to bump this thread after Marquez beats Bradley in the rematch.

I'd never sleep on Marquez, even in a rematch against Bradley but you have to understand that Bradley's styles is gonna become a lot harder to deal with as Marquez gets older.

That's why Marquez is pushing for an immediate rematch. Marquez is a very smart fighter, I think him and Nacho are gonna sit down and watch the fight carefully together and make the right adjustments to win the rematch. It's not like the fight was a blowout or anything, 2 of the judges had Bradley winning by 1 round, same way I saw it.

First of all, I want to say that Erik Morales makes my list of top 10 boxers ever, but I always keep it honest and will tell it like I see it.

Skillwise, Márquez is better. When it comes to resume, I think Morales has better wins including a prime Barrera and a very good, although arguably not prime yet, Pacquiao. Márquez holds wins over both Barrera and Pacquiao but circumstances are different.

After all, I think history will rate Márquez higher because of the fourth Pacquiao fight and the emphatic knockout, even if that Pacquiao, while still a great fighter, was past his prime. He also, arguably, holds a previous win against Pacquiao, either in 2008 or 2011. You can take your pick. The fact that JMM is still relevant at an advanced age, in terms of boxing, is also a plus.
that's why I'm hoping bradley takes the rematch and shuts him up...jmm looked slow and confused at times when they fought...he's not getting any younger either

people fail to understand jmm's resume above 135 really isn't that good, people forget how competitive morales was against maidana who is knocking out jmw right now, he showed his skill in the first garcia fight and he beat cano (although I'll admit cano was green at the time)

had pac looked in old form against rios I'd probably have a hard time deciding between the two but the pac jmm KO'd wasn't the pac who demolished cotto, hatton and margarito

If I did the amount of roids JMM did for Manny 4 I'd probably look elite too.
