He didn't do, he was given 4 years but did just barely more than 20 months, that's not paying his dues or doing his time. Also, he took part in violence within the prison itself, he should have been reprimanded for that on top of his already rather laughable sentencing.

It's sad that we live in a world where pimping, assault, **** and attempted murder only gets you 4-5 years.... It's a shame when societies start idolising criminals.

Exactly! And he would have done more than 4 years if the legal age difference between 2 people had not changed which means by getting 4 years, he got off on a technicality and then on top of that didn't do the original 4 years. In Canada the law was changed to make it legal if two people are within five years of age, the youngest one of the two being no younger than 16. The distance was and should still be closer. BUT, that is for non-destructive relations which obviously is opposite to what Stevenson did.

It sure is sad. People seem to get all gooey-eyed over celebs or stars and think they can do no wrong.
If it was the guy next door who did these disgusting crimes and not a 'celeb'..then he wouldn't have so many people queing up to defend his actions. Sad.

I think it is crazy to in any way attempt to excuse the things he did. Regardless of our environment we all have a conscious and a sense of right and wrong. It seems there are people who feel like he did not get what he deserved and that may be true but what is the purpose of sending someone to prison? Is it not in the hopes that once they return to society they go on to become productive citizens? Is there evidence out there that he he still doing these kind of things? Has he been in trouble since then? Do we believe there are things that people can not be rehabilitated from? I guess this can get pretty complex but If his actions since being released from prison have been those of a law abiding citizen I am not sure what else you could want from him or any other former criminal.

I just hope the people that are casting stones never end up in a messed up situation and require the forgiveness or acceptance of others that have no reason to give it to you~

Is it messed up what he did no doubt, but it is probably worse for so called high minded individuals to not give someone a second chance~

Why don't you let him pimp your daughter or mom then come back up on here saying you would give him a second chance and see how ****** you look

He wasnt given a second chance? Look at where he is, making big money as the LHW champ of the world. He's basically been forgiven, yet here he is crying racism and oppression because a reporter asked him a question about his past, its laughable

Im not sure how the media bringing up his pimping days is worse than pimping and torturing teenage girls. But thats just me

People make bad decisions, get caught up in bad lifestyles and situations. I don't know the guy, maybe he's a world class **** for all I know, but it appears he completely turned his life around. Troubled youth did some horrible things, no doubt. But he's clearly changed his life for the better.

What choice do I have in that situation? In the case of my mom there likely wouldn't have been shit I could do anyway and my daughter well if it got to that point I fucked up and failed her.

I would want my Mom and daughter to get a second chance though from that fuked up life so it would be hypocritical to say some else involved shouldn't get theirs.
