thats a little unfair comparison. Floyd is the P4P king while Canelo is a school boy who lacked experience.

Rigo and Donaire are a lot closer. If Donaire changes up his strategy a bit he still has a shot to win more rounds and make it a close fight.

didnt say it was Rigos fault. Just saying he did nothing special. Personally im not sold on Rigo yet. YET!
I think Doniare could have done more to test Rigo. But was hugely disappointed in his lack luster performance. I agree his fights are not as explosive but this fight was a ***ing dud!

I don't see why Rigondeaux would be concerned, he should be confident as hell about that fight given how the first fight went.

Rigo is a cold cold mother***er but at least he is saying real **** not just throwing words in the wind like Donaire because he does want the fight and is confident. Confident fighters want rematches.

Rigo is a nightmare match up for Donaire. Props to donaire if he wants to avenge his loss but it will be the same outcome.

well considering he won the fight at 122 and donaire is the one who's asking for a rematch, the catchweight of 123 is actually pretty generous. i see nothing wrong with it, by all accounts if donaire really wants a rematch it should be at 122 since that's where the first fight was at. and i hear people say donaire is too big for 122 now but it was only last year that he moved up to 122. he fought at the lower weights for the over 10 years and now suddenly at the age of 30 he's outgrown those divisions? i can see younger guys who are still growing doing that but a 30 year old shouldnt be growing much.

rigo just putting out his demands for the fight like donaire did. remember when donaire cried for a day about how rigo didnt sign the drug testing agreement yet? he almost called the fight off on that alone and he could do it because he was the champ. now rigo is the champ and the roles are reversed, except rigo is actually making it easier than he should as he's allowing donaire to come in above the 122 limit. absolutely nothing wrong with that.

also - the article is incorrect, donaire did not demand a rematch at all. kellerman had to ask him 20 times before he finally said rigo to save face.

i applaud the clinic rigo put on against donaire but he didn't give him a beating. just had one strong punch maybe in the tenth or eleven.

rigo really should just wait til he gets a belt then the rematch would make some sense, then rigo can bash his face up again and have a new belt in a new weight class

LAST thing Doniare wants is a rematch . He may want the public to think he wants it ,but he don't want it . And arum knows better , he'll keep him far away from rigo as long as he can cash in on nonito. That said I like how rigo is dictating the terms in the mean time but think him offering to go up one pound is funny.
