Comments Thread For: Rigondeaux: I'm Willing To Give Donaire Another Beating

WBA/WBO super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (12-0, 8KOs) is open to the idea of having a rematch with Nonito Donaire, but not at the featherweight limit of 126-pounds. Rigondeaux would take the fight if Donaire agreed to catch-weight of 123-pounds, and a weigh-in on the morning of the fight where Donaire would be unable to weigh more than 10-pounds over the weight (133-pounds). If Donaire win a world title at 126-pounds, that might tempt Rigondeaux to move up for another title.

LOL when Donaire wanted a direct rematch post fight, Rigo's team said nope, we been there, done that.

Now since HBO don't give a damn about him, he is back begging for a rematch.

He beats Donaire with ease again. Donaire is a solid counter puncher with power, but he's terrible VS defensive guys.

That fight was LAME as ***. Rigo did nothing special but what he was supposed to do with a fighter not throwing any punches.

I admire Rigo for his immense skill but what is with the conditions and clauses he is putting up for the fight to happen.

He's been there and done that so either go up in weight and fight Donaire or snatch all the belts.

                  Meh. Not interested.

I don't demand rematches for one sided clinics. How about Mayweather vs Canelo 2 while we're at it?
