You mention Donaire, but then you don't mention Andre Ward? Ward and Donaire have very similar resumes yet Ward is ranked by most "experts" as the number 2 P4P fighter in the world. This is a race baiting thread.

Andre Ward Blew out his entire division other than guys other people took out (Bute) and then beat down the Lineal LHW kingpin in Dawson, Then Shut out the undefeated top 10 Smw Edwin Rodriguez. That man is very accomplished

Don't know if serious? Abner just happens to have one of the best resumes in the sport. He went through a stretch of facing some of the thoughest opponents and recently moved up and knocked out a featherweight champ a fight later get ko'd by a big puncher and now all he's ever done is neglected. If your serious about this I guess that's your opinion but you should add a couple more names to that list based off that logic.

By your logic the obvious answer is a guy like Broner who fought a variety of midgets and like Abner is a Three division champ and he's ranked at p4p. Abner won his third title by knocking out the champ while Broner won a close sd. By your logic how is that different. Another guy like Rigondeaux who only has 13 fights is ranked p4p and his only notable win is against a hypejob in Donaire so by your logic how is he not a hypejob?

The thing is I never called those guys overhyped I simply used your criteria to label overhyped fighters . But if you really want to compare Broner and Mares ,Abner has by far the best resume.
