Vitali given another extension on his mandatory

    dear oh dear

“The WBC board of governors has accepted to extend the time until december 15 to have the final decision regarding the heavyweight division. The Holiday season was fundamental for this delay in communications.”

Vitali will defend vs Stiverne during next year and then retire to focus on the Ukrainian presidential election for 2015.

this is his second extension. i'm sure he will hold that belt hostage until he retires. what a waste of time... just retire already & let th division move forward with a vacant title fight or allow your brother to unify. vitali has been holding up the division for far 2 long.

What an *******. He doesn't want to retire because being a title holder helps his political career "ex world champion" just isn't as good, he doesn't want to fight because he might lose and "ex world champion" just isn't as good.

Unlikely Haye is going to be out for a long time, he'll have not defended in 2 years before Haye is able to fight.

Dude,he needs to decide what he's doing the sooner the better, this is dragging on far too long and is becoming a debacle.yeh sure two weeks is a blink compared to the time he has kept us all in limbo man, those two weeks can't come soon enough for some folk though,as long as he at least makes one more defence I will be happy from a personally viewpoint,2 defences and I would be ecstatic.

you won't find a bigger Vitali fan on this forum than myself but I want some clarity or closure from the man himself.more than anything I want a defence vs Stiverne,as it is the most honorable thing to do,if he retires having kept Stiverne waiting all this time,it really puts him in bad light IMO.I don't believe Vitali will retire without doing the honorable and most admirable option, defend against his mandatory who has been sat out nearly 3/4 of a calender year !
