No worries because Cotto ain't beating Sergio Martinez.

if cotto's not going to get $15 million to face martinez. he might as well get the $10 million against alvared and keep our mexican vs puerto rican rivalry going.

Even if he doesn't win I don't care, I can simply appreciate the fact that the man will face anybody for honor. It's a rare quality among boxers today. He's a dying breed of fighter.
Martinez on the other hand will get his one way or another. No worries...

I had my doubts about the $15 million offer to fight Martinez and Sampson Lewkociwz just confirmed it. Bob Arum has never paid anyone a $15 million guarantee except De La Hoya and the amount sounded fishy for a fight that will generate no more than 500,000 ppvs. Arum may have offered him a $15 million package to fight Martinez and a rematch with Pacquaio, but he definitely didn't offer him $15 million to fight Martinez. I would bet the offer was no more than $7 or $8 million from Arum.

True. Miguel is one of the few good ones.

I'm going to say that Martinez better be ready because I know if this fight takes place Cotto is going to be fully prepared since this is something that he has been pursuing for a while now. It would not surprise me if Cotto wins by KO/TKO.

Cotto might be biting off more than he can chew by fighting Sergio. I have feeling this will be a replay of when Cotto fought Pac.
