Eubank was a flashy, brash boxer. He was a showboat. His skills were by far the best of the three (Eubank, Benn, Watson), especially his footwork. Eubank boxed circles around Benn in their first fight.
Despite having the best skills (and biggest mouth), Eubank was a chicken**** as a matchmaker. He didn't fight any top American fighters. He played it safe. Maybe he knew his ego couldn't handle a loss.
One particular episode sticks in my mind. Before the Julian Jackson - Herol Graham fight for the vacant WBC middleweight title, Eubank talked about fighting Graham to unify the WBC and WBO belts. However, when Jackson iced Graham, Eubank walked out of the arena in disgust. It was clear he didn't want to fight Jackson.
