Sky Sports boxing expert Glenn McCrory is giving former champion Amir Khan a good shot to upset Floyd Mayweather Jr. - if the pair collide on May 3rd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Khan is the rumored opponent for Mayweather's next fight. Khan pulled away from a planned fight with IBF welterweight champion Devon Alexander to keep himself open for the opportunity against Mayweather.

McCrory told skysports.com: "I sat next to Amir Khan for the Carl Froch-George Groves match and he seemed quietly confident that he was going to get Mayweather next. It's not official and he was keen to stress that no deal had been done, but I've got a feeling now that's the way things are headed.

Khan has speed and sum power,but no chin mayweather just to skilled and i know if the fight gets made floyd would be the aggresor bet on that,but floyd walks him down,knocks him down in the first 4 rnds with a lead left hook,and pounds him out in a late stoppage about 9 rnds...would be very surprised if it went 12 rnds....

He's a former IBF cruiserweight world champion and he's one of the main pundits/commentators for sky boxing.

To be fair to Glenn, he also thought he had a good chance of beating Lennox Lewis for the British heavyweight title in the 90s.

He didn't. He was stopped in the 2nd. He don't know **** about boxing.
