I watched the Jennings Fedesov fight, didn't he have him hurt ? I seem to remember wishing the fight had gone on longer so we could have known more about Jennings.was it stopped on cuts ?ive seen most of Jennings fights,he's been on a few of the Adamek undercards, and I thought he was all wrong for Adamek with his freakish reach advantage, also his athleticism.hes got that natural athletes body like David Haye, but for me he's more skilled, especially that jab he utilises.
i'm not sure how great jennings' win over liakhovich was. sergei has seen better days & admitted to overlooking him. so he never put in a great effort in camp then wilder starched him. let's say sergei was done. who else has he beat? tupou & fedosov are journeymen & both hurt him. Jennings reminds me of davarryl Williamson & monte barrett. perimeter boxer who use the jab & move around lots. Jennings has one advantage over almost every HW. his 84" reach. he is only 6'2 but could out jab muxh taller opponents because of it. i question his beard & he really hasn't been tested outside liakhovich. that reach is his best weapon...

How awesome would it be if Andy Ruiz Jr. stepped in? He seems like the type of guy to fight anyone and the added exposure would be nice for him. Win or lose he'd bring the fight and may become a fan favorite in the process.

        Great breakdown.exceptionally accurate too.

Liakhovich wasn't even competitive in a single round, what made me laugh was Wilder electing to face him 2 years later, not before promising his fans a 'top Russian opponent' laughable.

Long term can Jennings be a factor in the division ? I don't know,I like his skills, his dedication etc.but you're right,we really don't know anything about him aside from his attributes.Wach is a step up whether or not that is appreciated,if he wanted the fight good on him.Fedesov really looked as though he could have taken him into deeper water, that is a worry concerning defence and durability.

Id like to see him against a come forward fighter someone who'll likely fall over but will do so in trying to land a huge shot,Mollo,Minto etc.its no good at this point lining up punch bags like Airich,Guinn and Sprott.

I kinda liked the idea of who Charr was facing and doing better numbers on them than Solis, but I feel Jennings is well ahead of those guys.

Too dangerous for Jennings IMO would be a cracking duel though.I genuinely believe Jennings is bypassing a certain class of opponent if he goes onto Ruiz or Wach after facing journeymen, shot ex champs and tomato cans,he's never faced anyone who lets there hands go with regularity,Minto would be a good test right now he'd land a punch before falling over,Jennings could be really hurt and fold when someone who throws combinations comes at him,Wach has poor handspeed,Ruiz has showcased quick hands.Wach is a less of a threat and a better match up from my point of view, right now anyway.

i don't know why more guys don't try & get neven pajkic in the ring. he is a tough SOB & can go hard for 10-12 rounds. he's not a big puncher but he will be in your kitchen all night. i know adamek tried on short notice but he declined. he is a stuntman\actor in toronto so i'm sure he would have to be offered a decent payday to venture away from the big screen. he is the perfect opponent. he is C+ as he beats all the C level journeyman but is 0-1 in his step up to world level. he is a durable guy & all his fights are pretty action packed no matter who he is fighting. tv friendly fighter that doesn't get enough respect. charr would be an excellent opponent for Jennings. the more i see him the more i like him.

Pajkic is a solid name for any resume.,he never got a fare shake against Fury IMO.I never knew Adamek wanted him instead of Guinn, that'd have been a good scrap.

Off topic but I was gutted when Adamek withdrew from the Glazkov fight.I was made up when that match up had been made, same with Wach and Jennings.such a shame its off.hopefully both can be resurected.

Charr is all heart,it begrudges me when folk troll his name, calling him a dumb useless piece of this and that.if he was such a dumb ass he wouldn't have made 200k from a 100k contract to face Vitali,he played K2 and doubled his money.his story is a real rags to riches one,the guy couldn't afford to fly to Moscow for the presser v Vitali, has been sleeping in friends apartments etc.he even went to the WBC convention and rose two places, three if you count the expulsion of Magomed, now his career is over.

his friendship with Sturm is a promising one,I remeber Felix beating somebody and Manuel held him aloft like it really meant a lot for himself.I admire Strum.

Also calling Charr a fat waster of sorts on this sight,c'mon really ? look at his resume/record,he has been dispatching the same oppositon as Solis but in more promising style.

i like charr. he isn't dumb as he has collected 6 WBC regional belts to get his ranking creeping up. he has tried to get bigger fights but so far been shut out.

What special is to fight on HBO these days.. They're not paying fighters properly while doing very well in the ratings.

$40K for Mago!? $350K for Gennady!? Crying Lampley $5M/year..
