Yeah, I've re-thought my position on Froch getting into the HOF. The football fan in me says "not even close." Because actually have to be a great player to go to Canton. Boxing is drastically different. So what the hell. If Arturo Gatti and Rocky Balboa made it into the boxing HOF. Froch may be a unanimous first ballot inductee.

I don't think Froch isn't worthy of having had a HOF career. Especially if he notched a big win. I am not saying he's first or second ballot. But it wouldn't be a travesty if he didn't make it.

However I think he needs a win vs the likes of Ward, top LHW Champion(s) or a continued run as champion vs Champions not named Ward. It's like he is right at the cusp.

Ah come on dude, most of Froch's resume came from the super 6, a risky fight against Bute in his backyard and him begging for a rematch from Kessler.

I don't remember him coming out and saying he'd rematch Dirrell or Johnson in his close matches..

Since when was Johnson a close match???????
