Seems like a ploy to me just to regain some ground in terms of the purse for the rematch.

I do believe Froch is a warrior and the truth is his legacy is ruined if he doesn't fight Groves again.

I doubt Ward would do the same numbers at all and he is just too slick a boxer for Froch who relies on physicality and pressure. At least with Groves he has a chance to pull a hungry proud young fighter into his kind of fight.

Foster likely had good intentions but it was certainly a bad stoppage.

      Boxing fans demand a rematch.

My respect for Froch is definitely going to seriously drop if he doesnt give Groves a rematch.
This is exactly what securing a legacy is all about....silencing the critics and leaving no doubts.

...and froch will never be competitive at world level again seeing as the're no more chinny or over the hill fighters left for him to fight

if stevenson had pushed for this fight instead of facing dawson I don't think we'd even be talking about this fool

it's amazing how froch is showing his true colors when he's on the other side of an unfair shake, most of us considered him a warrior up until last week, now he's just acting childish because he can't handle the embarrassment

            join the khan clan

How disappointing these comments are having took a slight liking to this very arrogant man. He may as well,if these comments are true join the Amir Khan clan.
We all saw what happened , it just seemed Carl didn't or as I suspect chooses not to.
Being local and loving the game for sooo long, if this is the true feelings of the guy, well, without swearing...what a guy!!

if groves can't cut it then Froch is barely at the world class level

Froch will rematch him guiz, it's Carl Froch remember.

Only thing that can scupper it according to Hearn is Groves being greedy with the split, otherwise it's odds on.

Sorry Carl, but you're deluded. EVERYBODY saw what Groves did. I was pulling for you, as I'd been telling everyone it was a mismatch. But I was wrong and for the first time - now that you have a lot to lose - you are ducking. Everyone saw you being beaten up and was given a gift. Think you might have stopped him if given the chance, but next time he'd just outbox you; far too quick & skilled for you. Everyone will remember that you ducked him after he battered ya. Who wants to see you gight anyone else?

Ah come on dude, most of Froch's resume came from the super 6, a risky fight against Bute in his backyard and him begging for a rematch from Kessler.

I don't remember him coming out and saying he'd rematch Dirrell or Johnson in his close matches..
