the only thing that concerns me is on what weight category this 3rd match gonna be. if it's at 133, the advantage goes right to em. im not sure if pac could carry that coz em is going to add a lot of power in his shots if he goes a lot heavier. im afraid pac can't take those punches he usually gets from em. remember em landed some good shots of his own during the last fight and he certainly rocked pac.

I also dont like that PAC-EM 3 be fought in a catch weight, I do agree with you that advantage goes to EM, but IMHO they should just maintain the condition in the contract fight at 130 and if EM wants to come in heavier then he have to pay 250k for every pound ...

there's a news link in the pinoy lounge, jomapac. sa espn ito report, 132 lbs sila maglalaban and arum & finkel both agreed. i hope pac compromises at sabihing sa 130 sila maglaban instead na sa 132.

Last fight he drained too much weight in too little of a time. That's why his legs got weak(punches to the body and his cornerman massaging them didn't help neither). He need too maintain a closer weight this time. I say keep running light in the morning try to keep at 150 lbs before he really trains for the fight. Morales weighs 170 lbs when he is not training and he went down to 130 lbs, he might've gotten away with that when he was younger, but when you get closer to that big 30 you start feeling it. Maybe get his dad back in his corner, coz' the new guys didn't really help or did anything better.

Pac and Morales - true warriors in every sense of the word.

Morales can win by jabbing and moving, by using purely his boxing ability. I don't think he will, but that is one way he COULD win.

I dont think this fight is completely pointless, unlike say Mayweather/Judah, but it is one that I can see only one winner.

that's what i've been saying...it seems like erik camp's has been enjoying a handicapped manny everytime their fighter steps into the ring. i know there's not going to be a lot of difference since it's 2-lbs comes fight night but its an advantage for erik nevertheless since pac's true weight class is at 126.

i think pac can take erik's punches as he showed in the last fight. i don't think there's going to be much difference in the weight comes fight night since both weighed 140 last time. if erik ballooned beyond that, he might have added weight on his punches but he would be slower too.

the only way i see erik to have a good chance of winning is if he sticks to box and use his jabs more effectively. however, i still don't see how he can solve manny's pressure offense since manny has much more weapons in his arsenal right now. also in their last fight erik was so confused where the shots were coming. manny did a lot of fainting and threw a lot of punches that erik couldn't telegraph. also pac's pace was too much for erik to handle and this is one reason why he gassed out early in the game. a bigger and slower will only make the matter worse.

that being said, erik being bigger is not necessarily an advantage for him. the advantage is more on not having to drain himself of those additional lbs and not being to worry about giving away $250K for every lb over.

there is nothing he can do. this fight wont happen erik will realize that he cant beat manny and he will pull out just like chico did.

use his jab, counter, move, and stay off the ropes.

Exactly. People forget this is the same Morales who actually beat Manny quite handily on their first bout. You talk like Erik's got no chance.
