Lomachenko is going to have a torrid time with Salido. I rate Salido really highly. He's a hard nosed, relentless world champion that can give anybody hell from super bantam to lightweight.

I do however hope Lomachenko comes through this because it could be the start of a very special career.

Still if is more than 3 rounds and each of them is 3 minutes and then you got pay, you are a professional no matter how they want it to put it, they are amateurs but some them are really good like him, Robeisi Ramirez, Savon etc... There's only one fighter that in his first professional fight he won a Belt, I can't remember his name, he was from thailand and himself a world muay thai champion, like I say, no headgear, more than three rounds and getting pay, you are a pro, but you know these kids they will omit anything that can against their hyping...

I think this is a mistake to push him so fast. Salido could break his will and stop him.

                Exactly, I completely agree.

As I said in previous threads concerning this fight, this isn't just a step up, but a Bob Beamon leap for Loma.

I'm impressed with his camp even taking this fight.

It will be one hell of a triumph if he can win it.

Very rare and interesting fight. There's very little exposure of lomachenko on the pro ranks that it very very difficult for me to predict how this fight will turn out.

Salido is a mean mother****er that gets stronger as the fight progresses while lomachenko has never been over 4 rounds. How will he react when salido is still coming at him hard after 6 rounds? On the other side we've seen salido get out boxed and knocked down before. It's unique fight. Looking forward to it.
