With all the VADA/USADA testing going on right now, jmm ain't winning anymore matches. jmm is too messed up and actually believes he's getting faster at his age. If jmm ducked Rios, he will retire just to avoid ProV and talk about his lucky win against Pac for the rest of his sorry azz life but he's still a loser.

Intriguing fight if Marquez was a few years younger. It this point Provodnikov's pressure and punching power might be too much even for Marquez's willpower. The style suits Marquez but the timing doesnt. It'd be entertaining though.

Provo is the next hype job here on boxingscene. How many have there been? They all bit the dust. Matthyse was the latest one. People were hyping that dude like crazy, with his limited and poor boxing skills. Then he got taken to school and got straight up clowned on. Provo knocks out a C level fighter like Alvarado and suddenly he's the greatest thing in the world.

This dude is easy pickings for Marquez, uppercuts down the middle and 4/5 punch combos all night. Do you remember Herrera beat this dude on Friday Night Fights? With just a little boxing and skill? Think what a sharp shooter like Marquez will do to Provo's face. Hypejobs.

There's a big difference between the way Matthyse and Provo fight. Matthyse is far more methodical and patient, which works against him if he can't hurt you with single shots. Provo on the other hand is more relentless.To add to that he's quicker, he throws tighter combos on the inside, and counters pretty well with that sneaky/looping overhand right of his; among other things. Even in his losses (which were both very close), his opponents received a beating. Both Herrera and Bradley took a tremendous amount of punishment. BTW the argument can be made that Provo won the Herrera fight.

Although I can see Marquez winning this fight, it won't be easy for him.

I think Provo will not demand testing and fight any version of Marquez. Question is will Marquez take the fight.

Anyone who thinks this is an easy fight for Provodnikov is a fool. Marquez loves to fight againts fighters like Provod who he can counter all night long. I actually think this is a fairly even fight, maybe even favoring Marquez a little bit. Provod doesn't have great defense and no fancy footwork. He'll be there to catch Marquez punches. Provod's only obvious advantage is Marquez is old and more hittable now than ever before.
