Carl looked every bit his age last week. I think it's time for him to retire. He's got nothing to prove, he was a very very good fighter.

Maybe should give Groves a rematch as it is controversial. That's why its best refs don't get too clever and stop fights too early and see things other people don't like Hayley joe the little boy in the sixth sense did.

It's not as ridiculous Dirk, because there wasn't so much controversy about the fights you mention. Froch has had equally as competitive / controversial wins of his own namely Dirrell, Taylor and he didn't rematch them.

Groves was a #5 SMW, and his stocks have only gone up. He does not have to rematch either of those next whom at present rankings and demand...vs Froch rematching him whom are proven to be at the top of the division.

Ward would be an acceptable rematch...ok. But the point is there's a LOT of call and demand for him rematching Groves...and he himself said he would.

Yes Froch must acknowledge the fact that people are only asking for him to give Groves a rematch as the ref got too cute, so Froch must give the ref much of the blame.
The ref should have let Froch stop Groves and let nature take its natural course. The ref essientially is claiming he saw something most other people didn't see and that is always going to cause controversy and problems.

I wanted Froch to win but I wanted the fight to run its natural course and I believe Froch when he says he was going to stop Groves, so I wanted to see that.

i think froch would not mind loosing again to ward but at his age & miles on his clock he carnt beat groves so i dont think he will take on groves
