In the last part of what I said in my first post, Mayweather turn an incredible performance against a young, hungry fighter given a chance to beat him, unlike Dela Hoya, Floyd have always wanted to face him and knew he can beat Oscar from '04-onwards.

Both Mayweather and Pacquiao choose to fight Dela Hoya as their ticket for greatness, the PPV numbers itself on Mayweather-Alvarez, whether Canelo is green or being hyped, shows Floyd's win over Canelo will go down as his career-defining victory.

There is literally no comparison between Roy moving up to heavyweight and Mayweather fighting Alvarez. None, zero, zilch.
