He only had one real successful round, the majority of the fight he spent taking huge right hands, at one point Groves hits him with 5 right hands, not a good look imo, he took one hell of a beating, more so than Groves

Yes he is a tough bastard our Froch, but he was getting used like a punchbag, I just feel Groves will come out in the next fight more accurate and pick his shots and conserve his energy for the later rounds

Strongly disagree with Khan here...if he really means this then he really is a bit punch drunk already. Let's first give some credit to Groves for steppin it up-hard. He looked awesome in there-- crafty, loopy, etc....
            - Froch is still a beast...he's a multi-faceted goon in there and he will still F you up! Combos that he got hit with would have knocked anyone silly @ 168. froch is one of those fighters where style of his opponent is an enormous factor- so he is who he is. But to retire? cmon Khan, someone threaded it earlier- Khan would get ko'd into retirement @140 faster than Froch would @ 168- Believe it like a zenith Khan

Who Knocked him out cold? Prescott did but not 2 people. He was on his feet before 8 with Garcia if that's what you are suggesting.

                Hatton was Ktfo ice cold

Thank you! I would put Froch's last 10 fights up against any fighter in boxing right now.

Well isn't this the pot calling the kettle black. Khan out of all people shouldn't talk about retirement. If he wants to speak about close calls, he was dropped and almost knocked out by a Julio Diaz whose seen his best days. Froch was challenged by a younger, hungrier fighter who fought the perfect fight. I'm sure Froch underestimated him, but he eventually caught up with Groves. The fight would have likely been stopped either way as Froch was beginning to come on. Khan, as usual, running his trap and making himself look even dumber. This clown has yet to realize that he's not the fighter he THINKS he is. If anyone should be near retirement, it should be him.

Conserve energy for what? It's not like he was under any constant pressure. It wasn't until round 6 when Froch started pressuring him. Beyond the first knock down, Froch took the remainder of the shots well. Groves actually looked more beaten after the fight than Froch did if we look at their faces. If they fought again, we'd have the same result. This time Froch would simply walk him down.
