Morales was strictly jab - straight right hand to the head and body, and jab again, keeping a tight guard.

Once Manny starts getting hit his output drops, that's all there is too it. It's easy to throw 90 punches a round against a corpse like Delahoya or a plodder with no right hand like Cotto.

This is the thing too, people act like Pac and JMM were all out wars for 12 rounds. They werent. Pac dropped his output against JMM because JMM counters well. There were exchanges of course but they also had period where they slowed down and boxed. People think pac is going to come out like a tornado and floyd is just going to have no idea what to do like he never seen a punch come from an angle before and he never seen someone use foot work. For christ sake floyd can deal with all of that. You think manny can really jump in and out of range with his shorter reach and not get caught by floyds longer reach and superior reflexes? give me a break. He will be getting countered and he will slow down against floyd.

If you've ever sparred you should know that mayweather shoulder roll defense does not work well against a southpaw who throws lefts with speed and power, the angles are just wrong for the person using the shoulder roll. That defense is meant to deal with orthodox fighters. Mayweather would have to use the high guard or use his legs.

I think mayweather will have better success moving around and making it a boring fight. If mayweather uses the high guard pac might be able to keep him in a shell with combinations.

It's a very interesting fight. I'm glad that there is still hope for this happening. It would be such a shame if these two dont meet. One of the biggest fight in boxing history not happening would be a tragedy.
