He wont risk fighting Groves again and lose out on Ward, He will probs fight Groves after though.
Carl Froch Interview On His Thoughts Post Groves

Ward will retire him
Froch will never risk fighting Groves again, he wants to protect his legacy, he is happy with the pathetic win he got.
Also Ward isn't coming to the UK after what he saw over the weekend, so that fight is out of the question
Froch is lookin like a right prat now, he is scared of Groves and that is evidentComment

I agree with carl on most of that, althoughhe needs some PR training because he's way too bbluntComment

Carl Forch comes off as a right arrogant sod and his brother Lee Forch is on twitter doing him no favours insulting people who aren't taking sides but want to see a rematch
I guess classlessness runs deep in his bloodlineComment

Thanks for that.Interview from http://boxingnewsonline.net/ by Tris Dixon.
I'll post my thoughts on it later, just thought it was an interesting read.
I must have a different understanding from Froch on what constitutes a 'great performance' and 'emphatic win'. I suspect I wont be the only one.
Anyhow, it sounds like he's not too keen on a rematch. I know Hearn has already had offers from potential venues and financially it makes sense so likely he'd be inclined to advise a rematch.
I don't think it's such an easy decision for McCracken though.Comment

After the first KD Froch legs were all over the place.. and he stumbled against the ropes.. he was hurt BAD..
This stoppage left me feeling sick tbh.. Groves was great.. he lost maybe a round or two MAX.. I was a huge fan of Froch.. only top english fighter around and an exciting style... but his acted like a real **** afterwards..
I don't think Groves was in that much trouble of being KOED in round 9.. he was hurt.. but fighting and defending.. You could argue he wouldn't have lasted 12th but he should have had the opportunity to do so.. but the ref robbed them both.. Froch of getting a legit KOComment
