But I do have to LOL at people giving Pac credit in general for beating Rios, a guy who was 1-1 at 140, and lost to Mike Alvarado his last time out.

Floyd fought ranked Welterweights, guys in the Top 3 at the least in Ortiz, Cotto, Guerrero, and Canelo......and people refuse to give him credit, well at least some still do.

Ortiz and Guerrero were no better than Rios as opponents, and I always cringe when I read 'ranked' as the way these rankings are worked out is pretty laughable.

Ortiz and Guerrero had at least fought at 147 before and won fights against Welterweights, and were prime.

Rios is prime, but the guy wasn't even one of the best at 140, and had never fought at 147. If you're going to fight someone who hasn't done anything at 147, make it against someone like Hatton in 07', Bradley in 12', or Garcia now. Guys who were the clear best fighters at that weight.

Rios was a decent contender at 140 who lost to Alvarado his last time out.

but pac is also coming off a ko lost. so what more do u want out of him? i dont think rios is a bad fight in terms of testing manny out. rios was there to get hit, sure, but rios was also there to pressure and to hit manny back which didnt happen but that was the whole point of this fight to fight someone who will come out and test u.

Ortiz and Guerrero both beat Berto to get the Floyd lottery ticket. Who else?

                  I agree. Manny proved nothing.
He has to win two to three more fights first, then join TMT
to be able to have the honor of dancing with the Queen.
Garcia or Khan are more worthy.

                  I prefer Khan next.
