    Manny proved nothing

I don't understand how some are impressed with Manny's performance because no one really gave Rios and chance before the fight and Manny was suppose to win and win by knockout. This was Rios first fight at 147 and he didn't look that great his last 2 fights against Alvarado. He won the first fight against Alvarado but was losing on the scorecards before he stopped Alvarado and then he lost the rematch because Alvarado decided to do the smart thing and he outboxed him. This fight was designed to make Manny look good and that's it. Brandon Rios is just a smaller version of Antonio Margarito but with less skill.

it was designed as a tune up to see what pac has got left...we found out that pac is not shot after that devastating KO. had pac struggled/looked terrible against someone who is typically tailor made for him then there would have been calls for his retirement.

just happy to see that pac hasn't lost much from that KO..still has great footwork, speed, power, chin seems to be okay, etc...

"Nothing" is a bit harsh...but he does need another fight against an A fighter to prove he is back to being elite.

Rios and Margs are different fighters. Its convenient for some people to say they are the same but Margs used his jab more, had better footwork and mixed up his punches differently than Rios does.

At 34 years old, he didn't have to prove much. Just get back on the winning road. Now focus on his next big pay day. What's wrong with that?

I didn't think Manny was a shot fighter. That being said, how can you really know if Manny has declined against someone like Rios?

one of the big questions was about manny's chin...whether he could still take a punch ..he took rios' punches pretty well and rios' is nowhere near a feather fisted fighter...

He was supposed to get knocked out by the first jab Rios threw..

PAC did prove something: he proved that he can STILL make Floyd's online children cry like little b1tches after he wins..he still has it

Manny proved he can beat Rios better than anyone Rios has ever fought, so it gives us an idea that Pac belongs in the upper tier of fighters, a level up from the alavarados of this world.
He convinced Rios, that Pac is one of the best fighters in the world. Saying Pac proved nothing is like saying Floyd proved nothing against Ortiz, Guerrero and Canelo.

When i said they are the same i meant they are both ****ers and i did say Margarito is more skillful and that makes it worse because Margarito's boxing skills aren't that great to begin with.
