We all know what a smile on a fighter means once he's been smashed in the face! Also lets stick to what we saw and know. Froch INTERNATIONAL SUPERSTAR / WARRIOR couldn't hold the middle of the ring and that exchange you refer to Groves made froch back off because he got buzzed again!!

Froch is HILARIOUS not on purpose it's just that he's so ****** he doesn't realise that he contradicts himself at least two or three times in a singular interview.

He has deluded himself into believing he punches like Mike Tyson as he keeps stating he would've put Groves in a stretcher and end his career! He made similar noise to Andre Ward!! ****ing NUTS!

I cant debate with that poster anymore he is clearly a Froch nuthugger

Most of these fanboys especially British ones wrote Groves off, its sad they cant accept just how good Groves was and how he beat Froch at his own game

I wasn't a huge fan of Groves until Saturday, he won me over with the way he fought.

I think Groves will go on to do big things in boxing

Groves is a very sharp puncher.

Froch did his usual dumbass mistake of wading forward, squaring up and putting his back leg in front of his lead leg and he ran straight onto the shot.

I would say Bute and Abraham were bigger punchers but they failed to catch Froch like that.

It seemed Froch was feeling all of the punches. He appeared in a slight state of surprise and confusion from the moment the fight started. Then he was almost frozen with a left and walked into the short right which sat him down. He got up too soon, did a slight riverdance and the end of the round came. Saved by the bell.

Groves didn't beat him though that's what idiots like you can't understand, he won the first half of the fight, Froch was winning the second.

While that may be the case due to Froch's lack of balance at the time, did you see his facial expression as he fell down? The man was literally unconscious before he hit the floor, it takes some serious power to turn any of the top ten's lights out like that let alone Carl Froch. You can't deny Groves has hugely explosive power and like the thread starter I honestly can't think of another fighter at SMW who hits like that.

Being in the top 10 makes you take a punch better now?

I really think he is you know.

Arthur Abraham didn't really take his power to SMW. In 12 fights at the weight he only has 4 KO's. He didn't really trouble Froch with anything.

Bute couldn't get the road warrior out of there but Groves seemed to be closer to and have him more gun shy.

Literally no one has stunned and hurt Froch so easily and regularly. That speaks volumes.

Groves is a deceptively hard hitter. He's come a long way from the De-Gale fight where he looked like a skinny counter puncher.

Froch wasnt expecting him so hit so hard and got floored and saved by the bell in the first round cos groves was landing some heavy shots at the end of the round.

Groves best punch through is the double jab but he didnt get much chance to showcase against froch as he couldnt afford to leave himself open too much.

I've always said Froch is overated. Ref spared his blushes in that one and Dirrell beat him in his back yard too.

One things for sure... he'll respect Groves alot more after that.

Ironically i thought the knockdown was groves's undoing.... he saw Froch hurt and tried to finish him and the fight turned into a slugfest at times.

If he kept his distance more, it would have been a different story.

                      Can't wait for the rematch!
