Rios is a dumb guy, and I don't much like his personality, but I think he's basically a good dude. And I do believe he came to win, but just didn't have what it took. Respect to him for giving it what he had, he was just up against a completely different class of opponent.

I almost am having second thoughts about Rios-Provodnikov. Ruslan would ruin Rios and give him his third straight loss, probably by KO. I don't know if he deserves such a rough patch in his career, though I also don't know how much further he can even go.

Where do you idiots come up with this crap; "drained by all the blood draining". Rios, a B-level fighter, got train wrecked by the Fighter of The Decade. Who did Rios EVER beat to deserve Pacquiao? Rios was at best, Pacquiao's third option. Manny wanted both Marquez and Bradley first and both took half the money to fight each other. Garcia, Matthysse, Maidana, were already committed. You see that's the $h!t, it's not about training hard, it's about training smart. You can train as hard as u want for 5-6 months, but if you're training just to train with no game plan you're wasting your time. I blame Garcia for Rios taking a beating, listen in between rounds, not once did I hear, "Brandon, move to your right, or this punch will help etc etc, all Garcia garbage a$$ said was keep going keep this, that, etc, etc.

I like Rios he is a funny hombre who wears his heart on his sleeve, not unlike Arreola, very tough boxer, don't forget he was coming up in weight too, Pac has fought at 147 before hasn't he( I dunno I don't follow this stuff religiously)
