But he says he tried and gave it his all. So oh well... I just feel like he could've performed much better. He's a much better fighter than what he showed. You may have a point in that he was afraid of getting KO'd. I also think the huge atmosphere played a role too, and it being entirely pro-Pacquaio. So he was fighting Pacquaio and the crowd too.

I think Robert Garcia had a really bad game plan.
I disagree...Rios was put in there to have Pac put on a top notch performance against...that's all it was. No one seriously was thinking Rios was a tough stiff challenge were they?

Check hooks would get smashed by Rios and Arreola- he is just a whack off talking crap and not keeping it 100% honest. He somehow has it in his mind that when Pac cries then it is more manly than if Rios does.....smfh.

He has a weirdo, cult type, brainwashed mentality with little morals....

I was always taught to not "kick someone when they are down". Obviously Check Hooks preys on others misery like a blatant chicken **** coward.

          Cong**** Rios.
I respect that. U the biggest Pac fan on here and even u can be humble about the situation. Hat goes off to Rios, that is a man who is PASSIONATE about this sport, and its the passion of fighters like Rios that make me love the sport undyingly like I do. Wud green K you if I could!

BTW we have some business to settle soon! Broner vs Maidana!

We can talk about the disparity in the skills in that ring and I get that. But I think back to Mares vs Moreno. There is a hilarious part in that fight where it looked like a basketball drill in there- Mares literally running across the ring after Anselmo to stay on top of him. That clearly wasn't a textbook example of cutting off the ring. That was sheer extra effort to impose your will. And that's what I expected to see from Brandon in one form or another. I respect that he kept coming forward. Definitely tougher than any of us behind a keyboard. But from what he has put out there through his own words and through his previous fights, he def disappointed from that aspect.

I have to give Roach credit here. He put in Brandon's mind the though of a KO. Brandon kept mentioning this prior to the fight and how he was going to look back at roach across the ring to let him know he was still there. He may have subconsciously fought to survive. Fighting like a fighter who was not going to take a chance of getting knocked out where normally he would never think of that and just fight his fight. Victory in his mind may have in part become not getting knocked out
And im sure thats the plan Garcia tried with Margarito, they're not going to try the same formula that failed the first time. Chasing someone like Manny is too risky, pacquiao was turning him quick, one step and he catches a punch he won't even see.

He was crying because he felt he let his team down you pac--tard.

Awwww look at rios? Crying like a newborn baby. Im happy pacman humbled him. Mayweather is next but he's taking alot of caution in fighting manny. Mayweather knows that pacmans angles and speed will cause problems. Pacman is on just as high of a level as mayweather. The difference is pacman will fight anyone...doesnt really care about an undefeated record...it comes with the territory. Mayweather is afraid to loss that 0.

That ****** to watch. Everybody knew it was going to be a horrible night for Brandon except him. And like someone else said, the fact that he only lost a decision means he exceeded my expectations. Props to Rios.
