you can't outbox floyd, especially if you're smaller fighter. Floyd's too sharp, quick and tricky. His feints and right straight will catch pac and frustrate him. Pac has faster combination punching but floyd will be too slick to unload combos on. I think that floyd has a slightly faster one punch speed that would allow him to pick pac apart. pac may grab a few rounds but floyd is incredible at adjusting. I like pac to outbox many 147 lbers but his only chance vs floyd is constant pressure, which also puts him in big danger of getting stopped.

Actually, the more I think about this, I think Mayweather would do Pac like he did Ortiz and Canelo, force him back. Pacquiao not too effective going back. This less aggressive version of Pacquiao makes that easier.

One bogey though is Manny stays busy. In a 12 round fight, the scoring could get really interesting. Fight might look something like Broner/Malignaggi.

He needs to go all out against Floyd, put it all on the line because the only way he's winning is by stoppage.
i agree but i think that there's no way the he's stopping floyd, imo. pac will land on floyd but they'll be single punches, no combos. But, he can outwork him. Of course, that leaves him open to getting stopped. really tough fight for him but it needs to be made. I think that floyd picks him aparts a la mosely but pac probably lands a few more than shane.

Of course Pac was going to look good against Rios...but you have to look deeper than that. You have to look at what and how he did it Different. Pacquiao, prime or not is going to have issues against crafty, defensive counter punchers. The question is if he's adding wrinkles that enables him to fair better against these guys.

Manny goes from being a plank of wood to fighting one and now there's a clamour for a Mayweather fight?

I give any version of Pac a chance vs Floyd. If Cotto was able to pressure and land on Mayweather, Pac will surely touch him as well. While Floyd may win the majority of the rounds, Pac might be able to do what Cotto and Mosley could not and finish Floyd.

What you need to do is watch the PAc Bradley replay and see how Pac won and how crafty he put on the heat on Bradley.

Bradley got a gift win, to say he deserves another go from Pac? I say he got some money over the first fight. He doesn't deserve a go with Pac. He ain't in Pac's league.

All it takes is watch the replay lol
