Cotto cuts off the ring well and he's got a nice stiff jab, Pacquiao doesn't have those attributes, it's ridiculous that people even go there.

The way Pac was popping in and out, side to side and turning would be very difficult for Floyd. And I don't agree that Floyd would be backing up Pac because of how Pac uses great side to side in and out movement. As well, Pac would walk into far fewer counters than he would have with a bull-rushing style. I think this fight plan would work better. But I still think it is Floyd by a margin of 116-113, roughly. I think that Floyd would be more comfortable in his fighting style than Pac would in his. Floyd's accuracy would be the difference I think.

Less aggressive? He was aggressive. Just more cautious with more movement. He still throws punches in bunches. All manny has done was take out the recklessness and included more patience.

however...I think the new version of Pacquiao gives Mayweather less mistakes to capitalize on. I'm leaning towards the slowed pace favoring Mayweather though.

But the stick and move, more calculated version of Pac against Mayweather would be VERY interesting simply because of Manny's foot speed. Mayweather has fought more flat footed recently and it's be honest, who has he fought recently that can move the way Pac moves and is that off beat/awkward?

It would be interesting. I'm actually a little more interested in this fight than I was Friday night.
I expect manny to go back to his prior more reckless and aggressive self in his future fights for a few reasons:

          1) He played it cautious last night because there was the possibility his chin was cracked.

          2) He constantly has leg problems, and his legs are getting shot as he ages. He'll be forced to sit down more.

pacquiao is nowhere near the pressure fighter Miguel is. manny can't even cut off a damn ring

People who say "you can't box with floyd" are wrong. In fact, the only chance you've got with Floyd is boxing. Look at what Zab Judah did. They think that Floyd is some superhuman or something. They must think that there's a 1200+ punching Jose Luis Castillo with a great chin and hand speed and power. It's a flawed idea.

And you guys were telling Cotto fans to chill? Manny and Floyd can turn Mother Teresa in to a hypocrite.

Not difficult for Marquez but it is for Floyd? The level of PAC-tardaction on this site is through the roof

Oh you mean when Floyd was analyzing Judah and once he did he dominated Judah so badly he ***dah hit him in the crotch and went into complete meltdown mode?

It favors Floyd big time. Pacman is scared of getting knocked out cold, if Pac actually beats Floyd at his own game and out boxes him, that would be humiliating.

Pac does have the weapon to hit Floyd that lead left straight, floyd for some reason has trouble avoiding a left straight for some reason.

Pac would be the best southpaw Floyd would ever face so it's interesting how will that paly out

that Floyd defense works best at orthodox styles and it will be tested if it will prevail against an unorthodox southpaw like Manny, who uses his left more brilliantly over any southpaw boxers out there
