floyd's win vs juan isnt part of the discussion,, yes it was a good win, but always thought that was the ultimate big money cherrypick,, floyd aint getting outboxed and outcountered by a smaller, slower, older, jmm....

but thats a whole other discussion

I dont begrudge manny or floyds wins because they are both clearly the best of their era and nobody is really gonna put up a fight vs them,,

You can get to manny more often since he is much more of an offensive fighter, so he has a tendency to get caught alot,,

Floyd is much better defender so he easily outpoints guys

I feel Canelo was much more green than Bradley was at their stages in their careers.

yeah,, no way was bradley "green"

he already had a big fight with alexander,

had fought peterson, abregu, vaquez, witter overseas, holt

Bradley was ready for it, and had earned it,,

Canelo got everything handed to him, and the trout fight was a good win but canelo didnt look very impressive in it, and gassed and nearly gave it away

There is also a saying that its tougher to defend your title than to take it from a champion.

Canelo beat Trout who most thought he would lose to and was ranked decent in the division.

Cotto established himself by beating Foreman, not for a vacant belt but by stopping Foreman (who beat Santos). He went on to stop Margarito and Mayorga-both durable and tough fighters much bigger than Miguel.

Ortiz beat an undefeated Berto- sure, in hindsight we can talk crap about Berto, but Ortiz proved himself at the time as beating an undefeated WW champion.

Manny's last few fights can be equally criticized...Marquez hasn't really been an established WW himself. Bradley had only fought once at WW before fighting Manny and Rios has NEVER fought at WW, in fact he lost his only fight at JWW! None of these guys Manny fought were champs in their divisions-none.

Ok lemme break it down for yall:

                Manny:
Rios: nothing more than a slugger iwth power and a terrific chin, good come back fight for Pacman but nothing more than that.

Marquez: Pac's Norton, say no more, every time these two get together it produces a great fight. Also a guy who maintains a certain level of p4p stature, top 10 for most of the last 6-7 years. *** it if yall cant handle that.

Bradley: Proven, currently no. 2 at 147, the more he fights, the better he looks as an opponent for Pac. Very good resume too and totally schooled JMM...Pac schooled him though, werent no win for the desert breeze. Best opponent of the lot.

                Marquez: see above

                Mosley: shot

                Floyd:
Canelo: good young fighter, strong but slow and stamina problems. had to be drained to 152...for a unification bout, just plain ******. Not good enough.

Guerrero: b list, slight skills, ****.

Cotto: past prime, already battered by Margarito and Pac, Floyd's best opponent and still gave him a tough fight.

                Ortiz: LOL

                Mosley: shot

Pac wins this one folks, Bradley was the best opponent last 5 fights and he schooled him for 8 or 9 rounds. Haters gon hate though

                    Styles make fights,,,

jmm outboxes and counters aggressive come forward fighters,,,

His style is horrible vs floyd, hence why he looked like a fool vs floyd

manny's aggressive style plays right into jmm's gameplans, hence why they have great fights,,

just like how floyd has tough fights vs hatton, cotto,
yet manny destroys them with ease,,

                    Its all about style matchups

How you vote for things depends on whether you are looking at the boxers pound for pound, or whether you looking at who would win in a fight. Canelo would likely beat most of the fighters on the list because he has a size advantage over them; it doesn't make him a better than them, but it arguably makes him the more difficult opponent.
