Who is worse at commentating? Jim Watt or Roy Jones?

is watt the guy with the scottish accent? I think he adds a bit of je ne sais quoi to sky sport proceedings, despite his bias in some cases.
Jones actually impressed me last night... corrected Lampley and Max.. he's a real truth spitter in there.
Lampley he corrected something was a jab instead of a hook, which was true.
Max he got on about the Magomed comment, and when Max talked about how Rios left foot wasn't outside Pac's right to be in position to fire the right hand, but Roy pointed out it was if he fired it behind the jab. and showed max exactly where.
Top notch, he's the best thing HBO's got commentary wise. He doesn't back down to either of those guys, checks them when they need to be checked when they say something painfully dumb, and always keeps it 100. Is he wrong or biased sometimes, probably, but what commentator hasn't been? More real than Lampley, more knowledgeable about boxing than Max.Comment

thats a good point... he was saying Prov was just as hurt as bradley at one point, which I wholly disagreed with. But he did a great job on saturday.Comment

Jim Watt is possibly the biggest band wagon rider of all mo-fracking time. As soon as one of the fighters does anything vaguely impressive or unexpected good ol' Jimmy pronounces him as the coming of Muhammad Robinson Marciano the third and proceeds to dry hump the guy harder than a Chihuahua on speed. The man is just plain awful at commentating.

Tarver's really good. Bernstein and Paulie are the best crew, though the blow by blow guy sucks. Gus Johnson may be crazy and loud, but he knows how to call a sporting event. Sucks they replaced him with someone so bad.Comment
