  • Comments Thread For: Roach: Mayweather Won't Be Easy, But Pacquiao Wins

Trainer Freddie Roach would like to see his prized pupil, Manny Pacquiao, faces WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2014. Pacquiao is scheduled to return to action on April 12, likely in Las Vegas. Mayweather is back in action on May 3rd, also in Las Vegas. Pacquiao snapped a two-fight losing streak to win a dominating twelve round decision over Brandon Rios on Saturday night in Macau, China.

It doesn't matter if Roach wants the Mayweather fight. The guy who has to want it is Pacquaio.....or more accurately it's up to Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum.

The only person who was scared for his health was Pacquiao last night. Thats why he blood drained his opponent with roadblock and potshot all night for an easy victory. He was scared to go back to ***** street like his last fight.

I didn't see much fear. Looked pretty much like the current version of Pacquiao that we've seen the past few years. He fought a smart, clean fight and won convincingly. He did not do anything ****** to give Rios a real chance to win. I find no fault in that, and if you saw fear in him you either know zero about the mindset of fighters or just hate Pacquiao for some reason.
