Exactly ...Garcia sucks as a trainer or he just don't care about his fighters ....but would he let his brother Mickey take a beating like that ?
What was team Garcia thinking?

It looked like their game plan was to survive the early rounds and turn up the heat late. Which is a good game plan against what they thought was a shot fighter but Pac was very disciplined and never let Brandon get going.Comment

They needed Manny to struggle with creating distance. In the early rounds he sometimes did, but as usual Rios was slowing down by the fifth round and Manny took over from there.
Rios was in pretty **** physical condition for the biggest fight of his life. He's limited, but he has some good attributes and it's not impossible that he beats a top level fighter. He probably isn't professional enough to actually do it though. Too fat and not skilled enough to compensate.Comment

I have to agree with this.
All Rios can do is walk forward, take a beating and throw bombs. If his opponent doesn't fold and can dodge/slip/block his punches he has no recourse.Last edited by Derranged; 11-24-2013, 02:11 PM.Comment

The whole Garcia team consists of weight draining to use size to their advantage.
To them, size >> skills. Then they cry on HBO when Mikey can't make weight.Comment

It seemed that they were hoping that Pac was damaged goods and that Rios size would make the difference. As soon as they realized that pac was still miles better theyy knew they were screwed. Brandon doesn't have the speed, footwork, technique, or ring IQ to beat a non shot pacquiao.Comment
