This is trial by social media imo
Did Hamer just come for the paycheck?

I'm not sure how I feel about this:
Whatever happens - it sets a bad precedence
If nothing happens other than getting dropped - what's to stop any fighter just do a couple of rounds and quit
If he loses his check - then when guys are in some real wars - or seriously hurt, they fight on instead of quitting.
I don't know - he was an embarrassment for HBO - much like he was an embarrassment to NBC. People paid $70 for this crap card. The only highlight was the step up fight for Verdejo and Pacman's return.
I think just dropping him and blackballing him from the industry is enough justice. But if a test showed some sort of brain injury - we'd all be looking like ******s. It's really a no-win situationComment

When the going gets tough.....Tor Hamer quits on his ****in' stool.
You could see by his body language midway through to late in round 3 that he had had enough. He did the exact same thing in the Glazkov fight; he experienced a lil bit of adversity then packed it in.Comment

Tor confuses me.... he was doing so well... almost landing at will against Andy and landing pretty big at some times.
Then when Andy started to turn his engine on and land in the third, Hamer's offense vanished. He has skills, but I don't think he should fight at the top level anymore... don't know if he can even test up and comers without quitting
I think he should try and be a sparring partnerComment
