Ruiz was pissed when he quit too. He was robbed of a showcase fight. Hamer should look for a different career.
Did Hamer just come for the paycheck?

I am not okay with that. I'm an Andy Ruiz fan and yes I was disappointed because I wanted to see how the fight would develop, specially for Ruiz who was just getting into rhythm. However, you don't know how a fighter is feeling inside... if he is truly hurt, if he is suffering from something. I heard this is the second time he quit, yah? So maybe it is a bad habit as opposed to bad health but we can't judge that. Some guys fight thru conditions and things they never reveal. He trained, laced them up and got inside that ring and did work, he deserves to get paid. And I hate quitters by the way, it's just that I saw agony when he sat down on that stool as if he simply couldn't give much more.Comment

wow! tor you are thru in boxing. actualy he can make good money being a sparring partner. The guy shouldn't be in boxing. That was pathetic. Dibella dropped him as well. Here's what he tweeted: “That is an embarrassment @TorHamer. Time to become a pilot. Sorry to the fans. That is not #DBE…By the way, Tor, you are released. WTF!!!”
I don't care to see him ever fight again.Comment

you don't have to split wages with a promotor and manager or trainer. youre home most nights. some boxers go that route.Comment

his purse should not be withheld.
fining him would probably be OK with me, but you can't keep the guy's purse for quitting.Comment
